Who we are: The Lawyer Referral Service (LRS) was established in 1956 by the Pima County Bar Association as a public service to help you find a qualified lawyer who has experience with your particular type of legal issue.
About LRS attorneys: Our LRS attorneys are experienced professionals who are in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona and the Pima County Bar Association. They are all licensed and insured. Many of our panel attorneys have decades of experience. The LRS can refer you to an attorney in almost every area of law and in a different language, if available.
How the Service Works
1. Find an Attorney
Fill out the online form or call (520) 623-4625. You will be asked questions about your legal issue to match you to an attorney who not only best fits your legal need, but who is also within your geographical area.
2. Our Fee
After we find an attorney who matches your legal need, you will pay a one-time, non-refundable $50 fee. If the attorney does not meet or speak with you personally, then you will be referred to a second attorney.
Each referral is for one separate legal matter. If you have multiple legal issues, you may need to pay different referral fees, as most attorneys only specialize in certain areas of law.
3. Meeting
Once your payment has been processed, you will be provided with the attorney’s contact information. It is your responsibility to contact the attorney’s office and schedule your 30-minute consultation (consultation may end before 30 minutes depending on your legal need). Please allow 1 to 3 business days for the attorney to schedule your consultation.
During your consultation, you will meet or speak with the attorney to assess your legal situation and discuss legal advice.
4. Decision
At the end of the consultation, the attorney will let you know if they are able or willing to further assist you with your legal need at their regular rates. You can decide if you wish to hire the attorney, but you are not required to hire them.
Attorneys are NOT required to take your case or represent you after your consultation. Please note, no refunds will be given after the consultation has taken place. Refunds will not be given in the event the attorney declines to represent you.

- I understand that this referral does not guarantee that the attorney will retain my case should I consult with them.
- For quality assurance purposes, referrals are limited to one referral per requestor per day.
