LAWYER REFERRAL SERVICE (LRS)

WHY JOIN LRS AS AN ATTORNEY PANELIST?

• LRS refers over 3,500 clients each year to LRS attorney panelists

• By answering a growing public need and providing clients with a full
  30-minute consultation, LRS attorneys help enhance the image of all attorneys

• While most cases are modest, good client relations may result in
  repeat business and personal recommendations

• As a LRS attorney panelist, you are helping PCBA's efforts to
  assist the public at large in a significant way

Please take the time to review the specifics below & join today!

(1) Requirements:

• You must be licensed to practice law in the State of Arizona and have
  been doing so for at least one year.

• Members in good standing of the Pima County Bar Association may become
  a LRS panelist at no cost -- a benefit of membership.  Attorneys who are not
  PCBA members may also become a LRS panelist, however there is a $150/year fee.

• You must carry a minimum professional liability coverage of $100,000 and
  provide LRS with a copy of your declaration page each year you participate on the panel.

(2) Choice of Categories:

• You may select up to SIX (6) areas of law: however, for each area chosen you must have
  handled at least TWO (2) matters to completion.  "Completion" is defined as the final
  resolution of a case through such methods including, but not limited to, trial disposition,
  motions for summary judgment, settlement, and/or finalization of documents where appropriate.

(3) Referral Procedure:

• A LRS Coordinator will provide your name, address and phone number to
  the client who will call your office to schedule the 30-minute appointment.
  The client will be instructed to notify you that s/he was referred by LRS.

• You may NOT schedule a referral with another attorney.  If needed, a
  client should be referred back to the LRS Coordinator.  Attorneys are
  called in rotation within each category.

• REFERRAL FORM:  You will receive a Referral Notification form with
  information about each client referred to you.  You must complete and  
  return the form to LRS within SEVEN (7) days of receipt.
